Amicus Capital Partners acquires Global Armour, a leading manufacturer of body armour and personal protection products

Amicus Capital Partners Limited has acquired Global Armour Limited (www.globalarmour.co.uk), the Northern Ireland based manufacturer of bullet and stab resistant body armour as a going concern. The company's customer base includes police and security forces in the UK and internationally.

Amicus Capital Partners is committed to significant investment in Global Armour Ltd to expand its customer service, technical, commercial, manufacturing and research and development capabilities.

Dr Terry McCartney of Amicus Capital and new Chairman of Global Armour Limited said "We are very excited about this opportunity to invest in a growing company in Northern Ireland. The investment made by Amicus will lead to further growth and development of unique and technologically advanced products for customers across the globe.
